The Cassette Tape was invented by the Dutch company Philips in 1963 and is an analogue magnetic tape recording format for audio recording and playback. Containing two spools, the tape became synonymous with its user for “chewing” up the tape after repeated use. But the format was a major player in the world of music delivery and was the format of choice, particularly with the introduction of the Sony Walkman in 1979!

This fascinating jigsaw puzzle features a collection of different cassette tape designs that were prominent and are fixed in the memory of a certain generation of music lovers around the world.
